We started Luma in 2014 with a secondhand 5kg roaster and a stubborn idea: great coffee should be transparent. Today we buy directly from 14 producers, pay on average 2.4× the Fairtrade minimum, and publish every price we pay.

    High-altitude farms in Ethiopia, Colombia, Kenya and beyond. We visit every partner at least once a year.

    Small 12kg batches, profiled by hand to bring out sweetness, never to hide defects.
